The upcoming Unni Mukundan-Asif Ali movie parodies the title of one of the boldest movies Mollywood has ever seen-  Avalude Ravukal. But the teaser of the comedy directed by Shanil Muhammed offers no resemblance to I V Sasi movie which narrated the story of a sex worker.

Even though his movie has nothing to do with the 1978 movie, Muhammed takes the liberty to name his directorial debut  Avarude Ravukal

The teaser of 'Avarude Ravukal' begins with a funny scene in which Unni Mukundan is shown the door for being too smart during a job interview after he tries to entice Honey Rose.

The film offers a hilarious comedy in which three happy-go-lucky youngsters enjoy their life in Kochi. Besides Unni Mukundan, the film has Asif Ali and Vinay Fort in the lead role. Nedumudi Venu plays an old womaniser who is always ready to offer tips to the youngsters on love and romance. Mukesh also plays an important role in the film.

Avarude Ravukal is the third outing of Unni Mukundan-Asif Ali duo after Mallu Singh and I Love Me. Shanil Mohammed, co-director of the successful film Philip and the Monkey Pen, is becoming an independent director with the comedy which is expected to hit the screens in August.
