The Kirik Party actress Rashmika Mandanna, who is enjoying the success of the movie after getting seven Filmfare awards. The actress is currently busy with Harsha's Anjaniputra opposite Puneeth Rajkumar. She has also signed the movie Chamak opposite Ganesh and an yet to be titled Telugu film opposite Naga Shourya.

Kirik Party, which rocked the Sandalwood box-office last year made Rashmika a sensation throughout South India.Talking to a leading daily about her experience in acting, Rashmika said,” It’s overwhelming. I always wanted to be busy with my work, and now I shoot day and night. As I have never acted before, whatever roles I take up is different and new for me, and I am excited to play them. I am going with the flow. I’m thrilled about watching myself on the screen; it gives me a high. I entered the industry with apprehensions, but everything worked out fine.”

About her Tollywood debut with Naga Shourya, she said, "The team went out of their way to make me feel comfortable. I miss Hyderabad because of the love and affection they showed to me.”

The actress also opened up about her personal life and her engagement to her Kirik Party co-star Rakshit Shetty. "There wasn’t anything between Rakshit and me. But there came the point when more than our work, people talked about us. In fact, it was our families who advised that we take this forward because it was just becoming an unnecessary distress. Well, the parents are happy, and it’s reat for us too because now we can go about our work without any pressure.”

Rashmika also confirmed her engagement news to Deccan Chronicle, “I respect Rakshit immensely. In fact, I occasionally still call him sir, and he feels embarrassed! But beyond that, I know I will be safest with Rakshit in my life. Rakshit is very encouraging and respects my choices. He was even instrumental in my decision to debut in Telugu. He has taught me a lot about the industry,” she shares.
