The popular actor, who is lodged at the Aluva sub jail, later reached out his mother and daughter.
Just after this news came out in public, various social media platforms were abuzz with reports of how the actor communicated with his daughter Meenakshi from the jail.

According to reports, on July 25, the Kunjikoonan actor apparently got a phone call from his mother and daughter, and Dileep told Meenakshi not to worry about his condition and asked her to concentrate on her studies. The reports also suggested that very few people have visited the actor in the jail. Only his brother Anoop meets him at the prison.
Meanwhile, the police on Tuesday interrogated Dileep's wife, Kavya Madhavan for six hours in connection with the actress attack case.
Dileep was arrested on July 10 for allegedly planning a criminal conspiracy to kidnap and assault the Malayalam actress.
