Solo, the Dulquer Salmaan starring anthology movie is finally all set to hit the theatres, this September. Last week the filmmakers released two posters on Twitter.

The highly anticipated movie will mark the Malayalam debut of the noted filmmaker Bejoy Nambiar. As reported earlier, the movie is an anthology movie which consists of four stories. Reportedly the stories are based on four elements of nature – Fire, water, wind and air. Dulquer plays a geek, an army guy, a hippie and an ordinary guy in the movie.

Dulquer is essaying the lead role in all the four stories, while all of them feature different female leads and supporting actors like Dino Morea, Sathish, Soubin Shahir, Manoj K. Jayan, Nassar, Suhasini Mani Ratnam, R. Parthiepan, John Vijay, Prakash Belawadi, Qaushiq Mukherjee, Siddharth Menon and Govind Menon.

The makers have been releasing various posters of the movie, with the latest one being where Dulquer is shown as a military officer posing in a trimmed moustache.

Here let us meet the leading ladies of the movie:



Neha Sharma is a Bollywood actress making her Malayalam debut with Solo. Neha is essaying the character Akshara, the love interest of Lt. Rudra Ramachandran, played by Dulquer in the movie.



Sai Dhansika, who was seen in Rajinikanth's Kabali, is playing Dulquer's love interest. In this part in Solo, Dulquer appears as a rockstar.


Model Arthi Venkatesh is making her acting debut with Solo. The movie will feature Arthi as the female lead opposite Dulquer Salmaan in one of the segments.



Sruthi Hariharan will make her Mollywood debut with Solo, as one of the leading ladies. Sruthi plays the role of Dulquer's love interest in the segment, which features him in the role of a gangster.

The music is composed by eleven members, including the popular music bands Thaikkudam Bridge, Masala Coffee, and musicians Prashant Pillai, Sooraj S Kurup, Gourav Godhkindi, Brodha V, Abhinav Bhansal, etc.
