The film had previously garnered attention when actress Deepika Padukone opted out of the project due to creative differences with the production team. As reported, Padukone had insisted on maintaining an eight-hour workday, a condition that clashed with the project's demanding schedule. Following her exit, Triptii Dimri was brought on board to portray the female lead opposite Prabhas.

Music for Spirit has already been composed by Harshavardhan Rameshwar in collaboration with Vanga, according to sources from Rangasthalam. With T-Series and Bhadrakali Pictures backing the production, Spirit has emerged as one of the most awaited titles in Indian cinema. The film is expected to release in 2027.

Insiders close to the production have revealed that Sandeep Reddy Vanga has envisioned a unique portrayal for Prabhas, requiring the actor to adopt a leaner physique. The director is reportedly keen on having Prabhas perform most of the stunts himself to bring authenticity to the character. Prabhas is said to be enthusiastic about the challenge and is working in close collaboration with Vanga to prepare for the role.

Once Spirit is completed, Vanga plans to focus on scripting Animal Park, the sequel to his 2023 blockbuster Animal.

With mounting excitement among fans and the promise of a fresh cinematic experience, the anticipation surrounding Spirit continues to grow.
