Rumours were abuzz that Samantha and Chaitanya have planned a month long honeymoon after their wedding ceremonies in Goa. Reportedly, Sam and Chay will be taking a break from work post their marriage. However, Samantha made it clear that there is no truth to these rumours.

The truth is, the two are planning to get back to work within just three days, owing to prior work commitments. They don’t have a honeymoon planned anytime soon.

The actress confirmed this news to an entertainment website and said, “Of course, Chay and I will get wedded on October 6th in Goa in a family ceremony. That will be a simple wedding where the total of our relatives will present. But we are not having any plans for a honeymoon. We have work commitments, and just on the 3rd day of our marriage, we both are going to attending our respective film shoots. Whatever you heard about our honeymoon package is false, only rumours.”

According to Times Of India, a source close to the couple said, “It will be a weekend wedding with just a close bunch of friends and family – say a 100-odd people. There will be a traditional Telugu ceremony on day one. The following Sunday, there will be a Christian wedding at a heritage church in Goa, where Sam and Chai will exchange vows.”

Samantha will be next seen in Siva Karthikeyan’s next while Chaitanya’s last film, Rarandoi Vedukka Chuddam was a hit at the box office. Currently, Samantha is busy with her ongoing Telugu movie ‘Rangasthalam 1985’ starring Ram Charan, being directed by Sukumar.
