Priyanka Reddy murder: From Keerthy Suresh to Karanvir Bohra, celebs express shock

From TV actor Karanvir Bohra to National Award winner Keerthy Suresh, many celebs were left saddened upon hearing the news of the murder of Dr Priyanka Reddy in Hyderabad and have demanded justice for the veterinarian.

Veterinarian doctor Priyanka Reddy's charred body was found on the Outer Ring Road underpass in Chatanpally village in Hyderabad. The vet who worked in Nawabpet went missing on the intervening night of Wednesday and Thursday.

According to reports, she had called her family last night and told them that her bike's tyre had gone flat and that some locals were helping her sort out the situation and had taken her bike to fix it. Priyanka later informed her sister over the phone about what happened and stated that she was worried.

When her family tried to call Priyanka back minutes later, her mobile was switched off. They immediately filed a complaint with police.

However, this morning (November 29), a body charred beyond recognition was found in Shadnagar.

The family identified the body as Dr Priyanka's with the help of a Ganesh locket that she wore. Police said that prima facie evidence suggests that she was brought to the underpass and killed. A lorry driver mentioned in the conversation between the victim and her sister is the main suspect in the case.
