Reports say Samantha returned her cheque to the producer of Vada Chennai, Tamil actor Dhanush, with whom she had signed a contract with last year. The bride-to-be was paid a handsome amount towards her advance payment. 

 
Meantime, fans of Sam-Chai pair are hoping that Sam should act at least with Chai.
