After her stint with OTT releases, Vidya Balan is all set to return to the theatres with her much-anticipated film ‘Neeyat’. Directed by Anu Menon, this theatrical masterpiece is set to give us Agatha Christie vibes. Starring Vidya Balan, Ram Kapoor, and Rahul Bose in titular roles, the ‘whodunit’ murder mystery is a suspense thriller with its old-world charm. Anil Kapoor, Gulshan Devaiah showered love on the lead actress after the special screening last night in Mumbai. Vidya Balan plays the role of a CBI officer who reaches the castle of a banished billionaire to solve the mysterious murders.

Anil Kapoor on ‘Neeyat’

Anil Kapoor ‘gave a standing ovation to the outstanding team behind it’. He took to Instagram and shared a poster of the movie with which he added that is a cinematic brilliance. He also tagged various members of the star cast from Rahul Bose, Ram Kapoor, Shahana Goswami, Neeraj Kabi, Amrita Puri, his Jugjugg Jeeyo co-star Prajankta Koli, Dipannita Sharma, Niki Walia, Shashank Arora, and others, and added, “You have created a masterpiece that will leave a lasting impression.

Gulshan Devaiah also took to his Instagram handle and wrote, “Enjoy the guessing game. I only got a little part of it right. #NEEYAT in theatres on 7th July."

The movie is a suspense-thriller and a murder mystery that would keep you on the edge of your seat. The cinematography promises to be brilliant with a beautiful setting in the Scottish highlands. Ashish Kapoor, played by Ram Kapoor is found dead at his own birthday party where his close-knit family members and friends have different ‘neeyat’ and hidden secrets. Investigator, Mira Rao is set to unearth the hidden motives of all present.
