Video: Balakrishna slaps assistant on the sets over footwear

FollowNandamuri Balakrishna might be a superstar in South film industry but working with him can be demeaning it seems. A video is going viral where the actor is seen slapping his assistant on the sets of KS Ravikumar's upcoming project. The video sent shock waves across the industry and made everybody wonder about the behaviour of a star of such stature.
We have witnessed several controversies in the past due to Balakrishna's ill-temper in public places. Earlier this year, he snapped back at a fan who tried to click a selfie with him during the screening of Gautamiputra Satakarni.
Coming back to his recent controversy, the video was shot on the sets of his upcoming film, where director KS Ravikumar can also be seen. In the footage, Balakrishna could be seen hitting his unidentified assistant in the head while ordering him to remove his footwears. The video has been drawing a lot of criticism from social media users.
In 2016, Balakrishna had grabbed headline because of speech during an audio release event that “I have always tried to do different roles. If I simply run behind the heroines, my fans will be disappointed. My fans like it when I either kiss the woman or make her pregnant. He added that he also “playfully pinches the female actors he works with”.
On the work front, Balakrishna’s untitled flick went on the floors at Ramaoji Film City in Hyderabad on August 03. Ravikumar is helming the project, which is bankrolled by C Kalyan. While Nayanthara has been roped in to play the female lead, Prakash Raj and Jagapathi Babu will be seen in important roles.
Balakrishna might also team up with Krishna Vamsi for a project titled Rythu, which might also star Amitabh Bachchan in a crucial role. The film’s story will talk about the plight of farmers and Balakrishna is said to play a farmer. He is also getting ready to launch his son’s acting career and it’s most likely to happen next year.
