Mammootty is learning Kasaragod slang for his new movie

We have seen actor Mammootty dabble in all kinds of Malayalam slangs. There may no other actor who might have tried his hand in speaking so many dialects.
Mammootty's Thiruvananthapuram slang in Anwar Rasheed's 'Rajamanickyam' is quite famous and in 'Bavuttiyudey Namathil' we heard him talking in Malappuram dialect.
Audience were quite surprised again when they heard him talking like a local businessman in pure Thrissur dialect in 'Pranchiyettan and the Saint'.
Now, we hear that in Ranjith's 'Puthenpanam', the actor would speak in Kasargod slang and the director has roped in author and screenplay writer P V Shajikumar to train Mammootty to talk like a Kasaragod native.
'Puthenpanam' will also have Vishak Nair, Renji Panicker and Ineya in notable roles and the shoot is currently progressing.
