Mollywood's pride and multilingual actor Mohanlal, who announced his directorial venture Barroz, will go on the floors from June as the actor is busy with other commitments
Barroz, a mythical Portugal figure, to be played by Complete Actor Mohanlal, is all set to go on floors in the next three months.
This will not only be a 3D fantasy film for children, but it also marks the directorial debut of the actor. Mohanlal, who always aspired to become a director, had announced this project last year.
Due to the clash of dates and commitments to other films, Barroz was delayed. The film also stars senior actor Prathap Pothen and this directorial venture of Mohanlal will now go on floors from June.
Barroz: The Guardian Of D'Gama's Treasure, is based on Jijo Punnoose's popular novel and the same has been adopted by Mohanlal.
The film will be shot in 3D and it will mainly focus on children.
Mohanlal has roped in child prodigy Lydian Nadaswaram, 14-year-old pianist, to compose the songs and background score for Barroz.
