Chennai: Tamil superstar Thalapathy Vijay has turned lockdown blues in his favour and in a much more meaningful way on the work front as he is said to have heard a few scripts and has given the green signal for three big movies.

To begin with, his next big flick is of Thuppakki fame director, AR Murugadoss, who will call the shots for Vijay's 65th film.

And this film will be bankrolled by Sun Pictures and if things fall in place, the film will start its shooting schedule soon and might go on floors from September.

Apart from Thuppakki, Murugadoss directed Vijay in two more films - Kaththi and Sarkar.  

His next will be by Mersal's production house, Sri Thenandal Films, and this film will be helmed by director Pandiraj, who after few scripts, zeroed in on one for Vijay.

The third project is also ready and the production house is waiting for confirmation from Vijay on who he would work with for the untitled project. At present, names of directors Sudha Kongaru, Vetrimaran, Sasikumar, Arunraja Kamaraj, Mohan Raja and Magizh Thirumeni are doing the rounds.

More details of all his lined up projects will be unveiled once the lockdown is lifted.
