Karan Johar is worried his twins will turn out to be Malayalees

Karan Johar, who is one of the biggest names in the film industry, had become the father of twins Roohi and Yash in February 2017. 

According to reports, Roohi and Yash are looked after by four trained nurses from Kerala. Hence, the doting father is worried that his childrens' first words could be in Malayalam, therefore Karan every day whispers ‘papa, papa, papa’ into the infants' ears.

Here are some excerpts from the lovely letter written by the filmmaker himself to his kids which was published on Vogue.com.

In the letter he wrote, "I’ve already started imagining things like your first day at school, your first words and even your first acknowledgement of me. To tell you the truth, every single day I whisper ‘papa, papa, papa’ into your ears because I’m petrified that your first words will be in Malayalam (all our four nurses are from Kerala)! (SIC)

He also said that he does not want his kids to follow their dreams, he said, "You don’t have to take my company forward if you are not inclined towards the film business. Instead, I wish that I bring you up to become people who are fiercely independent in your choices, opinions and your individual lives."(SIC) 

In the beginning, he expressed his feeling to have Roohi and Yash in his life, he wrote, "I spout clichés on how magical the two of you are, how you have filled the vacuum in my life and how you made my house a home, but it’s true. You’ve changed my life completely, and I’m not complaining. I worry a lot more than I ever did—I have these strange thoughts about my insurance premium, my will, even the division of my assets."
