The actress announced the good news through her Facebook page.
As per the report, the mother and baby are doing fine; the couple has yet to finalise the name of the baby boy.
Post marriage, Saranya had quit her acting career and concentrate on her family life. The couple got engaged on July 12th, 2015 in a private ceremony. They tied the knot on September 6th, in a traditional ceremony held at Kottamkulangara Temple, Alappuzha.
Aravind Krishnan, who is a dentist working in Varkala Dental College. Aravind also runs a dental clinic at Kovalam, Trivandrum.
Saranya made her acting debut as a child artist, with Fazil directed Aniyathipraavu.
She got her breakthrough in the lead roles with the blockbuster Tamil movies Yaaradi Nee Mohini and Velayudham.
