On Saturday morning, social media was flooded with reports of Girish Karnad having been into an accident and his condition was said to be quite critical.
It was reported that Girish Karnad had met with an accident in Goa and was critically injured. The message and photos kept doing the rounds on social media and WhatsApp. Theatre personality KM Chaitanya confirmed that the news is a mere speculation and and the news is baseless.
Seventy eight-year-old Girish Karnad is known for his contributions in the film and theatre industry.
