From party animal to jailbird: Timeline of Sanjjanaa Galrani's life
Actress Sanjjanaa Galrani was known to be surrounded by luxury. She is often termed as a party animal for her late-night and after-party bashes. But in the last 14 days, her life took a complete turn and she ended up as a jailbird. In 15 years, from modeling to films to jail, the actress has seen everything.
Sanjjanaa Galrani, controversy's favourite child came to limelight in early 2000. She got into advertisement when she was doing PUC and appeared in about 60 TV commercials before bagging her first Tamil Film.
Later in 2006, she played a lead role in Bollywood's remake 'Murder' in Kannada 'Ganda Hendathi' in 2006. She began her career in Sandalwood with controversy as many raised objections with the film due to its content.
She moved to Telugu industry and started to identify herself with top actors. Her acting skills, however, remain questionable as every class director with honesty considered it a 'dud'.
Few films old, she then started to fly abroad and became a regular visitor to Bally's Casino for celebrity events in Sri Lanka.

Back in the Kannada industry, she then acted in Dandupalya. Her acting can rarely be seen as she only got noticed for her nude back scene which many termed as a cheap publicity stunt for the film as well as the actress.
The actress was full of energy as every film would mean a gala event ending up in partying with late-night drinking. The actress was accused of a drunken brawl last year and was seen driving a posh car in which she received a 'gift'. The actress' selfie video while driving a car to go watch Mahesh Babu's film in January this year also stirred controversy.
Now in the last 14 days, after her name cropped up in CCB probe in connection with a drug case, her house was raided, she was arrested, remanded to CCB custody and then finally sent to a 14-day jail. Â She is the second actress after Ragini Dwivedi in Sandalwood who was arrested.
