It took Fahadh Faasil more than a year to return to the silver screen after his popular and critically acclaimed turn in last year's 'Maheshinte Prathikaaram'.

However, the comeback was indeed grand with his performance in survival thriller 'Take Off', which released last week, earning rave reviews.

And Malayalam moviebuffs, who just can't get enough of Fahadh, will be happy know that the new gen star is now teaming up with Anwar Rasheed.

The film, which is yet to be named, marks Rasheed's first full-length feature since 2013's 'Ustad Hotel', though the filmmaker has kept his Midas touch reputation alive as a producer through blockbuster hits 'Bangalore Days' and 'Premam'.

Fahadh and Rasheed had earlier joined hands for the segment Aami in the anthology film '5 Sundarikal'.

Fahadh is currently shooting for 'Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum', which will be his second collaboration with 'Maheshinte Prathikaaram' director Dileesh Pothen

Meanwhile, his Tamil debut 'Velaikkaran', co-starring Sivakarthikeyan, Nayanthara and Sneha, is also in the pipeline.
