Veteran actors Dileep and Manju Warrier will be back together on screen for the first time in 20 years, after they both signed up for the Malayalam remake of Brad Pitt-Angelina Jolie starrer 'Mr & Mrs Smith' (2005).

Dileep and Manju were last seen together in 'Kudamattam' (1997). The star pair, which has given us hit and memorable films like 'Sallapam' and 'Ee Puzhayum Kadannu', agreed to work together after being convinced by the scope of the ambitious project.

Titled 'Kunjukunjum Bharyayum', the film is expected to be an action-packed family entertainer and will be made on a massive budget of Rs 420 crore. Helmed by debutant director MA Dhavan, the film will be written by Sasi Palarivattom and produced by entrepreneur Shankar Das under the banner of Bombay Films.

It is understood that Dileep is on a strict workout routine to bulk up for the role, while Manju is learning Shaolin Kung Fu to nail the film's action sequences. Both actors are also taking classes in Mandarin Chinese as they are required to speak the language in a few scenes which are set to be shot in Beijing.

The rest of the cast is yet to be finalised, though a big name from Bollywood is expected to play the film's primary antagonist. Meanwhile, talks are ongoing with Pitt and Jolie to make a cameo appearance.

DISCLAIMER: This is an April Fool's prank (in case you haven't figured that out already). We apologise if it offended any of our readers. Of course, it goes without saying that we love both actors dearly and wish to see them back together on screen soon.
