Amitabh Bachchan has tested positive for coronavirus. He has been admitted to Mumbai’s Nanavati hospital.
Amitabh Bachchan took to Twitter to share the news. He tweeted, “I have tested CoviD positive .. shifted to Hospital .. hospital informing authorities .. family and staff undergone tests , results awaited ..All that have been in close proximity to me in the last 10 days are requested to please get themselves tested!”
Bachchan was last seen in Shoojit Sircar’s Gulabo Sitabo alongside Ayushmann Khurrana. The film premiered on an OTT platform (Amazon Prime Video) after the coronavirus pandemic-induced nationwide lockdown stopped it from getting released in cinema halls.
His forthcoming films include Brahmastra, Chehre and Jhund.
