The trailer of the movie goes back to the beginning and shows how the doll Annabelle was created and how the evil spirit entered the doll. Annabelle: Creation is the latest film in the Conjuring universe and a prequel to 2014's successful Annabelle. After giving us the scariest and the best horror movies in the form of Annabelle, The Conjuring and The Conjuring 2, the filmmakers have come with yet another spine-chilling tale about the doll who started the series.
Annabelle: Creation tells the story of a doll-maker and his wife who lose their only daughter in an accident, and after the dead girl's spirit frequently contacts them, they let her possess a doll.
However, things go awry and out of hands as they realise that the spirit was not their daughter's but the "devil."
The movie is the prequel of 2014’s successful Annabelle. In Annabelle, we saw a demonic doll, who makes people's life hell whoever comes in possession of it and those around them and later find it really hard to get rid of the cursed doll. In one of the movies the doll was exorcised and locked in a glass case in Ed and Lorraine Warren's house.
