August 15 is exceptional for all Indians because today, we got independence from the British Raj on this day 75 years ago. On this day, we pay tribute to our freedom fighters and the armed forces who sacrificed their lives for India.

Alia Bhatt took to Instagram Stories and shared a video of the sky and clouds and wishes fans Happy Independence Day. Playback singer Neha Kakkar looked stunning in ethnic wear. She wore a white kurta-pyjama with silver jhumkas and waved a small national flag from the roof of her house. "Azaadi Mubarak Jai Hind!!" she wrote.
Kajol displays the tri-colour shades in three different outfits. She wrote, "Feeling all the shades of desh bhakti."
Sidharth Malhotra shared a heart-warming post devoted to the Indian Army, Navy and Air Force. In his picture, Sidharth is seen standing at Rajghat and waving the national flag.
