Aishwarya Rai's ex-boyfriend's brother refuses to work with her

Fanney Khan will be directed by debutant Atul Manjrekar and produced by talented filmmaker Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, who made films like Rang De Basanti, Delhi 6, etc.
It is reported that Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra Productions got in touch with Akshay Oberoi, who has starred in a few Bollywood films like Pizza and Isi Life Mein, to play the lead actor. But, it is reported that the Oberoi boy refused the offer.
Now, why should a newbie in his mind, turn down an offer to act with top grosser and beautiful actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan?
Well, according to sources, it could be because of Aishwarya’s former lover Vivek Oberoi. A source close to the developments revealed to DNA that the team contacted Akshay for the film. However, things didn’t work out, and the filmmakers are still searching for the actor, who fits the role.

Akshay was last seen in Shanker Raman's Gurgaon, which was released on August 4. On the other hand, Aishwarya has signed Fanney Khan and is looking at signing a few more projects. The movie is expected to go on floors this month with Anil Kapoor, while Aishwarya will be joining the cast and crew a little later. Fanney Khan is slated to release in April 2018.
On the home front, Aishwarya and Abhishek were offered the remake of Abhimaan, which starred Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan, but sadly the couple turned down the offer.
