Pradeep Kumar suicide: Actor killed himself after fight with wife Pavani

The Telugu TV industry is in shocked over his death. Pradeep Kumar and his wife Pavani Reddy are a well-known couple among TV circles. Reports also stated that the actor hanged himself using his wife’s saree while she was in the other room.
"Pavani and a friend rushed Pradeep to a private hospital where doctors pronounced him dead," Narsingi Police Station Inspector P Ramchander Rao said.
Earlier reports had suggested that the actor’s financial troubles might have made him take the extreme step.
“When Pradeep tried to talk to me, I was busy with some other work. This had upset him, and we had a huge argument. So I went into the washroom and started crying. Meanwhile, my husband smashed a glass pane and injured his hand. My brother Shravan helped Pradeep by applying medicine. He was in a very bad mood and consumed a lot of alcohol. So I thought of leaving him alone and went to another room,” Pavani Reddy revealed the incidents that happened on the night, according to report in The Times of India.
Pavani slept the whole night on the chair in an another room. At around 4.30 am, Pavani went to wake Pradeep up as he had an early morning shoot to attend. He was found hanging.
However, Pradeep's friend and family members have alleged that there was friction between the newly married couple regarding Shravan (Pavani's cousin). They said that Shravan, who is from Dubai, has been staying with the couple for a few months now. The problem between the couple started since Shravan’s birthday party. The police have seized the mobile phones of all three and started further investigations.
Pradeep has acted in several TV serials and plays the lead role in Saptha Matrika while his wife is seen in the show Agnipooulu. Police have registered a case and are investigating. The film and television industry has expressed shock at the grievous turn of events.
