FollowBengaluru: A 17-year-old college girl was stabbed to death by his boyfriend in Bengaluru. The incident happened in Girinagar on Tuesday (July 14) the day when the victim’s II PUC (Class 12) result was announced .
The accused was identified as 23-year-old Muniraju alias Abhi Gowda, a resident of Rajajinagar and his girlfriend Narmada is from Nagarbhavi.
According to reports, the victim had come to a stationary shop on Tuesday night. Gowda, who followed her, asked her to ride pillion on his two-wheeler and took her to a friend's place in Dwarakanagar. The fight escalated over there as she was avoiding him. In a fit of rage, he stabbed her.
Hearing her screams, the house owner rushed to the spot and alerted police. Based on his complaint, a case was registered and Gowda was arrested. He confessed to the crime.
