Watch Yuzvendra Chahal, Dhanashree Verma dance it out during their Sangeet ceremony
Indian leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal’s wedding ceremony last month drew quite some attention, as he got hitched to Dhanashree Verma. Meanwhile, in a throwback video from their Sangeet ceremony, they are seen dancing it out. Check it out.
FollowYuzvendra Chahal is one of India’s most proficient spinners, especially in the limited-overs contests. While he would be travelling to Sri Lanka next month for the same, he has fallen out of a regular contention for the side and would be looking to make a significant impact to be reconsidered as a routine again.
But, Chahal’s gameplay is not just what makes him famous. His personal life, involving his dancer wife Dhanashree Verma, also has the fans talking.
Consequently, both keep their fans engaged by sharing pictures and videos of theirs. Recently, Dhanashree shared a throwback video from their Sangeet ceremony last year.
In the video, Chahashree is seen dancing it out. Both dance to the tunes of famous Bollywood hit Chura Ke Dil Mera from the 1994 movie Main Khiladi Tu Anari, starring Akshay Kumar and Shilpa Shetty.

While the video seems to be choreographed nicely, along with the videography, Chahal seemed to be not so professional at dancing, as he tries his best to match Dhanashree. On the contrary, Dhanashree naturally nails it with her dance, being a professional herself.
Dhanashree shared the video on their mini-anniversary, having completed six months of their marriage on Tuesday while they had tied the knot in December last year. Chahal shared a picture along with her on the same occasion, captioned, “Happy six months, wifey ❤️ #loveyou😘“.
Chahal is currently quarantining with Team India in a Mumbai hotel ahead of departure to Colombo on June 28. He recently also shared a video of himself training at the gymnasium of the team hotel, captioned, “It’s all about strength… physically as well as mentally 💪🏻🔥 🇮🇳“.
