Veteran Indian off-spinner Harbhajan Singh is one of the finest spinners to be ever produced by India. Having represented the side across formats, he has many records and accolades to his name.

From being India's first to claim a Test hat-trick to win multiple World Cups with the side, Harbhajan is undoubtedly one of Team India's legends. Also, having won four Indian Premier League titles proves his worth and calibre.

However, at the age of 40, he does not have much cricket left in him. While he hasn't announced his retirement from any of the formats, he seems to be trying other career interests, notably in the field of entertainment.

He is all set to make his debut in the sector in the upcoming South Indian movie, Friendship, a Tamil language movie based in Kollywood. The film has been directed by John Paul Raj, which stars Harbhajan in the lead role, alongside Arjun Sarja, Losliya, Sathish and MS Bhaskar.

Recently, the film's teaser was released, where Bhajji is seen in defying action-packed sequences, while he also chants some notable dialogues in Tamil. The teaser has already garnered more than 1.5 million viewers on YouTube. The movie would also be released across other languages, including Hindi and Telugu, with an official announcement regarding the film's release soon to be made.

Meanwhile, Harbhajan's acting skills have been highly acclaimed so far by the viewers. As per our analysis goes, it is commendable. However, we need to wait until the complete movie releases to judge him better.

Nonetheless, as far as it currently seems, he is likely to be a big hit in the entertainment industry, with Bollywood not too far behind. Also, being associated with Chennai Super Kings for a couple of seasons seems to have helped him earn tremendous popularity in South India, besides having won a title with the side in 2018.
