On Saturday, England had the last laugh on Day 4 of the third Test against India for the Pataudi Trophy at Headingley in Leeds. The visitor was bundled out for 300, courtesy of pacer Ollie Robinson's incredible seven-for, suffering an innings and 76-run defeat.

India had elected to bat but could only manage 78. Meanwhile, England scored 432, thanks to Joe Root's yet another century. In the second innings, India did well on Day 3, finishing on 215/2, trailing by 139 runs.

While Jadeja scored 30 before being dismissed by Overton at 278, the remainder of the tail-enders were removed for single figures. Mohammed Siraj was the last man to be dismissed for an unfortunate duck by the same man at the same score, as England completed an innings and 76-run win.

England utilised six bowlers in the innings. While Robinson was the most successful of all, claiming a fifer, Anderson was the most economical.
Brief scores: India 78 & 278 (Rohit-59, Pujara- 91, Kohli- 55; Robinson- 5/65, Oerton- 3/47) lost to England 432 (Hameed- 68, Burns- 61, Malan- 70, Root- 121; Shami- 3/87) by an innings and 76 runs.
