The recent edition of the well-begun IPL has started giving spectators some exciting stuff. All matches have almost clashed till the last over, with some even providing the Super Over thrill. The fourth match of the season is scheduled between Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK), at Sharjah Cricket Stadium on Tuesday.

Rajasthan Royals, by all means, would like to pump up for the tournament. Probably the beginner’s luck, the team has been unable to lift the trophy since the first IPL, in 2008. CSK, who have lifted the trophy thrice, would be fuming with confidence, as they won the first match this season against Mumbai.

Team squad: RR has a strong base of overseas players, who are good at batting, bowling, and all-rounders. An alternate player who fits in for Ben Stokes’ unavailability would be a thing to be looked up to. CSK is most likely to continue with their first match squad, which performed fairly well in all spheres. However, they might try Ruturaj Gaikwad in place of Vijay, who has just returned after testing negative for Covid-19.

2019 IPL Journey: RR will have to start afresh, overlooking their performance last season. They were second last on the table, whereas CSK were top second on the table.

Head on: Among the total 22 matches that have been played, CSK has managed to win 14, more than half of the total matches. With RR winning only 8 matches, CSK wins a bit easily, batting against this franchise.

Weather and pitch report: With no rain predicted, the weather will be hot and humid, looming around 38 degrees. As far as the pitch is concerned, it is all likely to assist the bowlers.

Predicted XI:
RR: Yashasvi Jaiswal, Robin Uthappa, Sanju Samson (wk), Steve Smith (c), Riyan Parag, David Miller, Shreyas Gopal, Jofra Archer, Oshane Thomas, Jaydev Unadkat
CSK: Ruturaj Gaikwad, Shane Watson, Faf Du Plessis, Ambati Rayudu, Kedar Jadhav, MS Dhoni (wk) (c), Ravindra Jadeja, Sam Curran, Piyush Chawla, Lungi Ngidi, Deepak Chahar

Fantasy XI:
Batsmen: Ambati Rayudu, Faf du Plessis, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Robin Uthappa. Rayudu and du Plessis would give a solid start, backed with Yashasvi and Uthappa as the pillars for the middle-order.
Wicket-Keeper:  MS Dhoni (c). The legendary wicket-keeper is quite witty and is vigilant behind the wickets, as he is the captain as well.
All-rounders: Sam Curran, Ravindra Jadeja —. Both are perfect hitters and take the pressure off the situation.
Bowlers: Jofra Archer, Lungi Ngidi, Piyush Chawla, Deepak Chahar —. The mix of spinner and pacer can restrict the batting line up to a low score.

Players to make an impact:
Yashasvi Jaiswal: The Under-19 player, who is likely to open for Rajasthan Royals, can get off to a good start.
Ruturaj Gaikwad: The player could be a potential player to Raina’s position.
Jofra Archer: The deadly bowler can just scalp wickets and restrict the opposition at a low score, no matter what the track is.
