Team India is coming off a successful campaign in Australia, where it successfully retained the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. The focus would now shift to England, as it defends the Anthony de Mello Trophy at home, starting Friday.

The Tests would be held in Chennai (first and second) and Ahemdabad (third and fourth). Meanwhile, this would also be the first home series for Team India in the pandemic era, besides being the first home series of 2021.

Indian skipper, Virat Kohli would be one of the focus points in the series. He did not feature in the final three Tests, Down Under, since he was on paternity leave. However, he is now back, as he looks to start 2021 with a bang.

Earlier, on Monday, Kohli and his boys were involved in a short training session at Chepauk, where he was seen participating in a footvolley game with the side. It was a small warm-up, before the full-fledged training session, which was held on Tuesday.

Kohli would be looking to have a prolific year after failing to score an international century last year. Furthermore, he would also be desperate to lead his side to a victory, as Team India eyes the final spot in the ongoing ICC World Test Championship.
