With the cricketing bonanza just a few days away from its first match at Abu Dhabi, fans seem equally excited for the second match at the Dubai International Stadium. The stadium will host 24 matches this season, the highest amongst the three venues in UAE. However, as per schedule, 4 matches are likely to be the afternoon ones.

This multi-purpose stadium at Dubai, erected with Canadian architecture, has a capacity of up to 30,000 spectators. With the first cricket match being played in 2009, the stadium has been the venue for various international matches thereon. The stadium also has a striking feature. Known as the “Ring of Fire”, there are 350 Floodlights installed in a way that shadows on the ground are minimized.
