Swinging votes in one’s favour is never easy, especially without maligning the opponent. Using only strategies and understanding the voter’s psychology takes the whole process to another level.

Age was truly no bar for Kanthi Dutt who had set out on a journey to break stereotypes and carve out a unique niche for himself.

Starting his career at the age of 12 as an entrepreneur, Kanthi Dutt is a well-established businessman from Hyderabad, India and is a proud owner and CEO of a branding solutions & entertainment company named Spartans Media. For his huge body of work, Kanthi has been awarded the Telangana Rashtra Sarwabhowma Award 2019 by the Government of Telangana.

As entrepreneur & strategy consultant Kanthi Dutt plunged into the world of politics and helped many politicians with their political campaigns in Andhra Pradesh & Telangana, his name grew in the circuit & reached out to neighbouring states like Karnataka & Tamilnadu.

But he calmly refuses opportunities knocking from other states, as he says “Politics and handling public is an art. To excel in this field, we need to know the right pulse of the people we are set to deal with. Unless, you’re a local person, it’s difficult to draw a plan or strategy as well. To know the state well, public’s roots & needs is the key”.

Kanthi Dutt says, “There are a lot of genuine politicians, who want to contest and win, but at heart know that they are going to lose. I want to be of support to them. It’s true that today’s youth is aiming at developing the nation”. Driven solely by passion for politics and a desire to help the right candidates win, Kanthi is on a mission!

Question: Do you want to join active politics and contest?
Kanthi: “No, that’s not of my interest. I am happy with what I’ve been doing. Even if I know, I can do well in active politics, that’s not my cup of tea. I enjoy creating new business ventures that could shelter large number of employees!

Notably, of the five politicians he backed in the Andhra and Telangana Legislative Assembly elections, three won. Kanthi explains that his role is to plan the campaign, how and where the candidate should run their polling mandate. He throws light on how a ruling party always tries to further weaken opponent candidate’s power or good will.
