Billionaire Elon Musk is willing to sell Tesla stock worth $6 billion to help solve world hunger problem, but has one condition. In a tweet on Sunday (October 31), the Tesla and SpaceX CEO launched an 'open' challenge to United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) Executive Director, David Beasley, asking him to prove the latter's claim that just 2 per cent of the entrepreneur's income could help end world hunger problem.

Elon Musk's tweet read that if the WFP can describe how $6 billion would solve world hunger, "I will sell Tesla stock right now and do it." Musk, however, added that the WFP must make a public disclosure of how they are utilizing the funds in a bid to tackle this global crisis. He said, “But it must be open source accounting, so the public sees precisely how the money is spent.”
