Afghanistan crisis: How Taliban earns over $1.5 billion annually

Ever since the Taliban were ousted by United States' forces in 2001, the fundamentalist Islamic group have grown richer & more powerful. The question that looms large is - How do the Taliban fund themselves to sustain their war?

According to a UNSC report, it is estimated that the Taliban's annual combined revenue ranges from $300 million to upwards of $1.5 billion per annum.
