Bengaluru: A good teacher can inspire hope, ignite the imagination, and instil love of learning. Education is the key to success in life, and teachers make a lasting impact in the lives of their students. But here, a dance video of teachers of a government primary and high school in Bengaluru’s Hanumanthanagar has gone viral for all the wrong reasons and drawn criticism from minister of primary and secondary education Suresh Kumar. In the video, teachers dressed in different shades of green are seen dancing to tunes of Sandalwood song ‘Allaadsu’ from the film Chowka. The video has drawn flak from education minister Suresh Kumar as he criticised the teachers’ act and said episodes like these are a black mark on the noble profession.
