Cyclone Ditwah Strikes: Puducherry Under Red Alert

The Cyclone Ditwah prompted a red alert for Puducherry and nearby coastal districts as it nears the Tamil Nadu-Puducherry coast. Heavy to very heavy rainfall, gusty winds and rough sea conditions are lashing the region, forcing residents indoors — schools closed, flights cancelled, and normal life disrupted.
