Amid the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, Tax expert N Nithyananda expects that Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman to give better medical expense claim for senior citizens as hospital charges arising out of the Covid-19 treatment remain very high.
He expects the Union Budget 2020 to give good interest rates to senior citizens.
He also expects the government to levy cess from higher income groups while not overburdening this section.
