The preparations for the 2023 Indian Premier League (IPL) got underway on Friday with the all-important Mini-Auction that took place at the Grand Hyatt in Kochi. After all the participating sides confirmed their retained and released players a couple of months later, they shaped their squad for the upcoming season. IPL 2023 is expected to return to its traditional home-and-away format, moving away from the COVID-forced neutral venue systems.
