Now, Tinder users can plan group nights
The right swipes on the social networking mobile application, Tinder, can now help you plan group night outs and parties with strangers.
The largest dating application in the world, which has already found its way into most millennial smartphones, has rolled out a new feature - group matching and planning for parties and night outs.
Tinder, on Thursday, released an expansion to 'Tinder Social', which allows users to plan outings with people they know as well as strangers, by forming a group in the app.
The new feature works quite similar to Facebook events. Suppose a group is set up to go out for a party or a night out, the event will flash on the screens of people near you. And, a right swipe by them will hook them up with your group.
Sean Rad, CEO and co-founder of Tinder said, "Tinder Social is designed to make it as easy as possible to plan your night, get out into the real world and meet new people. The new feature takes the Tinder experience to a new level, offering our users more ways to expand their social circles and interact with potential matches," according to a Fortune report.
Amid all this, to reduce the confusion, Tinder has also made special arrangements. Suppose, a group is formed on Monday evening for a night out, it will automatically be erased by Tuesday afternoon so that only new invites appear on users' screens.
