Many tech companies, including Snap, Facebook, and others, have tried to roll out apps to match the performance level of TikTok. But, they couldn't satisfy the creators. Now, Google has brought Youtube Shorts to beat TikTok.

As per reports, Youtube 'Shorts' has pulled up a $100 million fund to pay creators for creating content. According to The Verge, Youtube will contact the creators on a monthly basis. The creators will get a huge amount of views with a good engagement. Though Youtube hasn't mentioned the amount that they will pay the creators, many could get thousands. Anyone can post 'Shorts', but it has to be original.

Users of India and the US will be eligible for using Youtube 'Shorts'. It hasn't started yet, but it will start soon and will run till 2022. Tiktok had also raised a fund of $200 million for the content creators earlier when it was running. Google has taken up the idea and started 'Shorts'.

TikTok has been banned from India, but worldwide, people can still access it. This is an alternative option for Indian users to create engaging content over Youtube.
