Here's how you can update vaccination status on Aarogya Setu app

India is ramping up its vaccination drive. Till today, over 23.27 crore vaccination doses have already been administered. Now, you can also update your vaccination status on the Aarogya Setu app. This will help those who want to travel in future.

So, if you are vaccinated, even with one dose, you need to head over to the app and update your status. If you have received the first dose it will show ‘partially vaccinated’, and if you have received both the amounts, the status will change to Vaccinated. To do that, these are the steps you need to follow.

So first, ensure the app downloaded and updated. Head to Google Playstore or Apple App Store and download the latest version of the app on your phone.

Following this, install and launch the app.  You will be asked for a few privacy permissions, including your mobile number, location and switching on the Bluetooth. 

After this, you will be asked to take a self-assessment. Do that. Once you are done with that, you will be shown an option to update your vaccination status. Once you update that, you need to take the revised self-assessment.

Following this, those who have been vaccinated with the first dose will have partially vaccinated as their status, and those who have had both the shots will have vaccinated as their status. However, do remember that this status is based on the declarations provided by you during your self-assessment.

If you are partially vaccinated, the app shows a single blue border with the status ‘partially vaccinated’. Once you receive both the shots and update them on the app, the app will show a double blue border with ‘vaccinated’.
