Google to now notify you if you are mentioned online

The World Wide Web is a huge platform with never ending possibilities. And if you are mentioned somewhere, it is not always possible for you to track the exact location. However, Google has now made arrangements to make it so.

Rolling out its latest feature 'Stay in the loop', Google will now send notifications to users of all their mentions across the web.

The feature only just requires users to remain logged into their Google accounts, to get notified if they are referred to on the internet.

Every time a user gets a mention anywhere on the internet, Google will send an email notification specifying the details of the same.

'Stay in loop' easy to enrol

At the bottom of the Google Search homepage, an option to join the feature can be seen at the bottom of the page.

Setting up a new Google alert will activate the notifications on your associated email ID.

The service can be customised as per users' requirements like email frequency, languages and regions.

The service will also track and save both your web and mobile app activities for future reference.
