Google Tensor chip beats Qualcomm Snapdragon, Samsung’s Exynos 2100 in terms of benchmark scores: Report

Google released its Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro smartphones this week, both of which have their in-house Tensor processor. Google dropped Qualcomm's Snapdragon chipsets from its Pixel series to include its Tensorchip in the Pixel 6 series. In terms of benchmark results, the Google Tensor processor exceeds the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888, Samsung's Exynos 2100, and Huawei HiSilicon Kirin 9000 chipsets, according to recent study. On Reddit, a user posted the results of 3DMark Wild Life, Wild Life Extreme, and Wild Life Stress benchmarks.

Greg (u/grt3) reported that he acquired the Google Pixel 6 early and requested Reddit users if they wanted to know anything. According to Greg's statistics, Google's Tensor achieved 6,666 points while producing 39 frames per second in the Wild Life Extreme test. The Google Tensor earned a best loop score of 2,129 and a low loop score of 1,193 at 56 percent stability in the 3DMark Wild Life Stress test, which lasts up to 20 minutes.

Separately, a Twitter tipter published a screenshot of the benchmark scores for the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra and the Huawei Mate 40 Pro Wild Life Extreme. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 888-powered Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra scored 1,494 points at 8.90 frames per second, whereas the Exynos 2100-powered Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra earned 1,793 points at 10.7 frames per second. On the other hand, the Huawei smartphone received 2,004 points with a frame rate of 12 frames per second.

In other news, Sundar Pichai, CEO of Google, has announced the launch of the JioPhone Nextsmartphone before Diwali. He spoke openly about the low-cost gadget and India's digital development. According to Pichai, the JioPhone Next would have premium localised capabilities and be available in stores before Diwali. Pichai, the CEO of Alphabet, Google's parent business, stated that Google had progressed "with the built-for-India cheap smartphone co-developed with Reliance."
