Google's shopping app is getting redirected to its main website's home page, and as per 9to5Google, Google is going to shut down its shopping app.

A Google spokesperson said that the app will stop working after June. He said, "Within the next few weeks, we'll no longer be supporting the Shopping app. All of the functionality the app offered users is available on the Shopping tab".

He added, "We'll continue building features within the Shopping tab and other Google surfaces, including the Google app, that makes it easy for people to discover and shop for the products they love".

Announcing this news, they mentioned the users will be able to access the online website via desktop on shopping.google.com. Google's shopping used to give a varied range of options from thousands of online stores to the users.

Last year Google shut down its Trusted Contacts App.
