Facebook is planning to go a step further to help the physically challenged with its Virtual Reality (VR) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) that will assist both the blind and the deaf users of Facebook.
Zuckerberg said, AI is the area of technology, which he is most excited about on Facebook.
He stressed on the importance of the audio aid on the news feed for the blind people.

“AI can look at your news feed and read it out for you,” says an excited Zuckerberg. The technology can even explain a photo in audio format to the user.
Here’s how the photo audio feature would sound, “Hey here is a picture of these (friends tagged) friends at the beach or these two friends cooking dinner.’
Facebook is also working towards a technology that will automatically generate subtitles for videos to help people who are deaf understand the visuals better.
The Facebook supremo said, “Virtual Reality is a technology which is meant to get better with time. Hence, Facebook has launched a 360-degree view for pictures, to enhance VR to users.
