The 2020 Tokyo Olympics is just around the corner, as the Indian contingent is gearing up for its best-ever campaign. While India is expected to win medals in some verticles, wrestling happens to be one of them.

As of now, eight wrestlers from the nation have qualified. Meanwhile, the Wrestling Federation of India president, Brijbhushan Sharan Singh, is confident of India winning at least four medals in the sport.

"This time, I am expecting big from wrestling. Wrestlers are fully fit and they have worked really hard. Federation and government has put all their efforts and kept no stone unturned. During Rio 2016 there were a lot of controversies -- Vinesh got injured and Narsingh was in trouble for doping. Because of Narsingh's incidence, all were disturbed. There was a problem with training and also for camp, but this time there are no such issues," he told ANI.

However, Brijbhushan was not really sure as to what would be the colour of the medal that the wrestlers would win. While Bajrang Punia happens to be the top prospect, as he is seeded second, he has been struggling with an injury of late.

"Everything is fine with him; there is no problem. We are expecting four medals and may also get a bonus. I am only looking at the fish's eye, at least four medals from wrestling, that's all I know," he concluded.
