Tendulkar's childhood photo with father goes viral

Social media was in a tizzy on Sunday after Sachin Tendulkar posted a picture of him and his father to mark Father's Day.
 

Tendulkar, who uploaded the photo to Twitter, also wrote an accompanying message:

"The person I always looked up to and wanted to be like. #HappyFathersDay."

Sachin's father, noted Marathi playwright Ramesh Tendulkar, was a big supporter of his game and passed away during the 1999 World Cup in England.

Sachin returned to India for the cremation and on rejoining the team for ongoing World Cup, smashed a memorable century against Kenya.
