Shah Rukh Khan bats for KKR's weeping cheerleaders

Kolkata Knight Riders' loss to Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL 2016 Eliminator on Wednesday night was marked by bizarre scenes. No sooner than Gautam Gambhir's side went down by 22 runs to David Warner's team, KKR cheerleaders on the sidelines broke down sobbing.
 

Ostensibly gutted by the defeat, the three Kolkata cheergirls  lacrimated profusely in full public view, before lending each other their shoulders.
 

Even KKR owner Shah Rukh Khan was moved into commenting. The Bollywood star took to Twitter to thank the girls.
