Famous Argentine striker Sergio Aguero is undoubtedly a legend for Manchester City, being the club's all-time highest goal scorer. However, it all comes to an end this season.

Aguero's current contract expires following the ongoing English Premier League season, with City nearly sure of being the champion. It would bring an end to Aguero's decade-long career at Eithad Stadium, having scored 258 goals in 388 matches, while it would be his fifth EPL title win with the Cityzens.

Consequently, he has been linked to some of the top clubs, including Italian gaint Juventus, that looks to replace a potential outgoing Cristiano Ronaldo with the Argentine. Furthermore, the Bianconeri is left with Alvaro Morata, who is scheduled to go back to Atletico Madrid.

However, according to a new report from Sky Sports, La Liga giant Barcelona is eyeing to rope in Aguero. He would become the ideal partner to his Argentine teammate Lionel Messi, while the latter's future at the club remains uncertain.

Nevertheless, it would be interesting to see how much does Barca actually offer Aguero, considering that the Catalan is going through a severe financial crisis. Also, having some reservations against Aguero's age and being tide injury-prone of late, it is yet unclear if Barca would be willing to land him at Camp Nou.

As of now, it seems like Aguero is Juventus bound. However, if the Bianconeri fails to qualify for the UEFA Champions League next season, it could jeopardise the chances of landing the Argentine in Turin.
