England have already lost the ODI series 2-0 to India and it is time for Eoin Morgan and co. to salvage some pride in the third and final game ahead of the three-match T20 series. But if they continue to make similar mistakes, they might just lose the third ODI as well.

Morgan very well knows about the kind of form Virat Kohli and co. are in. It is understandable that Kohli will leave no stones unturned in the third ODI and he is going to go for the full Monty. But England can actually trump the host at the Eden Gardens if they stick to their basics and play comprehensive all-round cricket.

Here are certain dos and dont’s for England so that they can avoid humiliation:

## England need to get their bowling on track. They have been all over the place in the first two ODIs. Twice they have let India score 350 plus runs from a situation which no one can even imagine.

## They cannot let the pressure ease off the Indian batsmen. The Three Lions have been average on the field apart from few occasions like the Ben Stokes catch in the second slip to dismiss Virat Kohli in the second ODI.

## Their top order has fired but England really cannot afford to throw wickets away at crucial junctures of the game when India are feeling the heat. In both matches, Jason Roy was set and was well and truly on course for centuries and he missed out in both the ODIs. Joe Root too threw his wicket away when he was threatening the Indian bowling attack.

## Morgan has to rethink his strategies and really cannot focus on few batsmen. Indian batting lineup is currently in red-hot form and anybody can fire.
